Baseball is a favorite pastime of many children, but for a child with a disability, there is simply no safe place where they can go and hit a ball. The Junior Grizzlies baseball league gives all kids, regardless of their limitations, the ability to play on a level playing field.

Junior Grizzlies was established in 2006 as the flagship program of the Fresno Grizzlies Community Fund. Junior Grizzlies is a baseball league specifically designed for kids with mental and physical disabilities. This unique baseball league allows all kids to enjoy America's favorite pastime.

All participants are assigned to teams, each team practices weekly and plays every Sunday afternoon from April to early June.  The Junior Grizzlies season runs for 8 weeks.  The Grizzlies Community Fund is currently building a field of dreams for Junior Grizzlies at Herndon and Sunnyside in Clovis.  For more information on the field project click here.

The Junior Grizzlies welcome kids of all ages and all abilities. Registration has begun for the upcoming season. To download a registration form click here. The 2007 season started on
March 4th with "Spring Training".
